Joshua K. Nickerson

Joshua K. Nickerson was diagnosed with ADHD at thirty, roughly twenty years after everyone who knew him could have told him. Before diagnosis, he accumulated a career path that reads like a choose-your-own-adventure: restaurant management, freelance copywriting, a brief and regrettable stint as a life coach, and a graduate program he never quite finished.

After diagnosis, he spent three years trying every productivity system on the market and built a graveyard of abandoned planners before realizing the system he needed did not exist yet. So he built it. He now writes and speaks about neurodivergent productivity, treating the ADHD brain not as a broken machine but as a different one. He lives in Portland with his partner, two cats with better executive function than he has, and a collection of half-finished woodworking projects.
